In his "Summerland" series of photographs, Benjamin Donaldson's subjects have been hypnotized to believe they are in the most beautiful landscape imaginable. Worth a look.

Interesting idea. The second picture reminds me of Mosh on holiday. No matter where we are or what time of day it is, point a camera at him and he looks bloody miserable or makes a v-sign.

I can see the bliss behind their eyes. What an interesting experiment with photography, especially with portraits.

They don't have the expressions I would have expected. They don't look particularly amazed or impressed.

Stunning! Transfixing images ~ compelling and intimate. Thank you for this introduction to his project.
