The Future of Entertainment?
In the future, we'll all be streaming our lives online. Until then, we have Justin Kan. Check out Justin.tv, where you can follow Justin 24/7, via live webcam. This is no slacker cam, although there's plenty of life's banality on display here. Justin and his business partners took six months to iron out the kinks of their mobile, streaming, pov system (and the result is pretty impressive). The show went live five days ago and it's worth a look. The appeal, at least to me, goes beyond voyeurism. Yes, Justin is an intelligent and personable guy. More importantly, however, he and his partners understand their concept is ultimately about the viewers and the people Justin meets throughout his day. That's far more interesting than any one person. Justin's cell phone number is even listed on the site (which has resulted in some early heartburn, yet admirably remains up). This is not some kind of poorly planned stunt. The guys of Justin.tv are on a mission to prove to the entertainment establishment that this is a new and viable show format. My guess is they're right. And we can watch them and watch them and watch them every step of the way.

I definitely think it is a new approach to reality show based TV. I hope that it doesn’t just stay with JT though. He seems like an ok dude but.... I agree with mara. There are allot of people that are going to completely ruin this potential new concept. Today JT.. Next week Flavor Flav
Yeah.. He had an interview on tv the other day. Apparently people kept on prank calling him and even calling 911 using his number. They showed the video of him when the cops entered his apartment. It was pretty funny.
